Why Forums?
So why do we want to have forum traffic? Well simply it is super targeted, you’ve got groups of people who are very passionate and they form communities and in those communities they love to discuss things that lead to sales. These are avid, passionate buyers.
Locate
So where do you locate them? I’ll give you a few ideas on the next slide. You’ll probably know the forums in your industry or your market. If you don’t just start with Google and that’s a good place to check. You would put your keyword and then the word forum to locate them.
When you find the forums. Most bulletin boards, in this example I’m using the Warrior forum V bulletin, it will show you how many threads, how many posts and how many members are in the forum. So you can see this community here has nearly 300,000 members which mean huge opportunity for us.
Then we got industry. In each industry there will be communities or forums. Sometimes they’re official, sometimes they’re unofficial. But most industries have a centralized place where people hang out. So in the case of internet marketing, there are lots of affiliate forums where affiliates hang out and discuss different strategies and tactics.
