It’s pretty hard to ignore Facebook. It’s very very popular platform these days and a tremendous source of traffic which you’re about to find out. We’re going to cover the free and paid aspects of Facebook.
Let’s go to Facebook itself and get some data here. More than 500 million users are on Facebook. In fact 50% of those users log in to Facebook on any given day and the average user has a 130 friends. People spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook.
Importantly, there are more than 200 million active users are currently accessing Facebook through their mobile devices so we really need to be on Facebook. I just want to point out at this point that we do not want to build 100% of our business on Facebook. That would be an enormous mistake that I see many people make because one day, perhaps in a few years time, Facebook will not be the biggest and the best. Right now, it’s in the big top 3. What we do want to do is use Facebook to get traffic and intermix it into our own business and remember our goal is to drive people to our money page to put people to our list to make sales. For this reason, Facebook is the best way to build our database.
